August 26, Womens’s Equality Day.

August 26, The date was selected to commemorate the 1920 certification of the 19th Amendment to the Constitution, granting women the right to vote. This was the culmination of a massive, peaceful civil rights movement by women that had its formal beginnings in 1848 at the world’s first women’s rights convention, in Seneca Falls, New York.

Women, ya’ll rule. You can choose to be what you want to be, Please be helpful to the younger generation of women, help empower them. Show them how to be an individual, and feel free to express themselves, take care of their own body how they see fit, to make the decisions that perpetuate their own growth, to be able to have their own voice heard. I am grateful for the strong woman in my corner. She is such a strong fighter, and thank all that is that she puts up with me. ;}

We all need to celebrate the differences of one another, irregardless of ethnicity, creed, or gender.

Love and Peace
